OUR STORY

Hamperley Farm has been home for Chris Foulkes since 1956. Chris has farmed the land since the age of 15. He has carefully tended the fields, hedgerows and animals in a way that is in tune with nature. As a result the farm is home to many species of birds and mammals and the local area is rich with flora and fauna. It is also one of the settings for the Lone Pine stories written by Malcolm SavilleMore recently, we have diversified into holiday accommodation to support the farming and family life.

Chris, Kirsty and their youngest son Tom (TAF Home Improvements) have sympathetically converted two farm buildings into beautiful holiday cottages that  subtly blend  old with new.  Their oldest son, Ryan, is also following in these footsteps but with a twist, as you will see on the 'Hamperley Hideaways'  website.

Hamperley Farm is still a working farm. The milking cows have gone  but there are plenty of sheep and a tractor or two trundling around.

Lovely accommodation. Very smart and clean with everything you could need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Very well located. Thank you.

Me and my partner stayed here for a short break. 5 stars just isn’t enough. Everything is of the highest standard. They have thought of everything to make a self catering stay 5 stars. Amazing location and super friendly host. We are 100% going to be booking again for next year

Such a little gem. Stunning little cottage, literally everything included. We really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return .
